Resolved — In response to the issues caused by an outage to a legacy part of our network tonight, new additional anycasted DNS resolvers have been deployed throughout Sydney GlobalSwitch in several suites to avoid DNS resolver problems in future. IP Addresses are still: 126.96.36.199 188.8.131.52 In addition, we have commenced the decommission of an old legacy router by having new routers take over some gateway traffic and we will progressively phase it out over the following week.
Resolved — Services are back to normal. We will work with affected customers to determine individual outage causes that were caused by the loss of power to some of our legacy equipment.
Monitoring — Some customers may notice a small network issue for 30 seconds while we do some preventative network maintenance.
